A moment of an embarrassment

This morning while I was travelling to work by train to Preston, a lady next to me talking to her companion about if there is a drink and snack trolley in this train, so she said I’ll ask the conductor, the conductor replied there’s no snacks services in this train all the way to York and that’s two hours of travelling, but she said they could come off the train for a couple of minutes at Preston and she make sure that the train doesn’t leave without them, alternatively they could wait till they arrive at Bradford, at that point the passenger said “Bradford! No no Bradford is iffy “the conductor replied “I live in Bradford” there was a moment of dead silence, then a burst of laughter from everyone, while the lady covering her face from the embarrassment.

I remember i was at a confrence once, and my friend and i decided to speak in Arabic as we thought that no one would understand us. What happened is the following, we were standing on the line up to purchase our lunch and this guy standing infront of us didnt stop looking at us, so i turned to my friend and said in arabic why is he staring like that, and i'd say shofi seriously he ga3ed staring and she'd say walahi ma yet7shem...then few mintues later he turns to his friend and says " kaled "sheno be tet3'ada" omg my friend and i were so embaressed..i spent the rest of the confrence hiding myself away from him...and everytime i see him, i run the oppsite direction!!

Lool@happymoi I think Libyans by nature born to be “fonasa” and I blame it on our genes, I think its more of curiosity then been nosy which is completely different, but that was really funny situation and embarrassing for sure.
